We are Arizona's premiere dance studio specializing in social and ballroom dance lessons for all ages. We teach a variety of dance lessons geared to giving you a great workout, lots of fun and creating beautiful memories with those you love. Below are the main areas that MyDanceStudio specializes in and a brief description of each.

We instruct in three types of formats depending on your situation. All dance lessons are billed by the hour. We teach private dance lessons (1-2 people), semi-private dance lessons (3-7 people) or group dance lessons (8+ people).

Why is your name "MyDanceStudio"?

MyDanceStudio is about you. We offer the convenience of an online presence to service your dance lesson needs quickly and efficiently. MyDanceStudio has a positive location in their partnership with Village Health Clubs that will make you feel you are getting world-class service every time you come in for your dance lessons. Also, at MyDanceStudio we believe in quality of instruction for you and your loved ones. Our instructors are highly experienced teachers and competitors and are eager to share that experience with you at a reasonable rate. In the end, just remember that MyDanceStudio is your dance studio!

How much do dance lessons cost?

We bill by the hour. The standard rate is $80.00 per hour, but with our 5 lesson package it's $70.00. To get the package pricing we ask that you pay it all at once. We accept all major credit cards, checks and cash. No money orders.

I've seen dance lessons for $25 - why are yours higher? 

Many studios have introductory deals designed to give you a chance to try their programs and teachers without a heavy financial commitment. At MyDanceStudio we do similar campaigns with a first free lesson or discounts on packages, however these are temporary deals. Statistically speaking, most studios that teach dance lessons of average to high quality will run between $60-$120 per hour.

Also, we believe in quality and you can be assured that your lessons will be nothing less. You are not only investing in yourself, but reserving time with people who have also invested thousands of dollars and hours of practice in being the best they can be for you.

What types of packages are there?

We like to keep it simple. Our only dance lesson package is 5 lessons and costs $349.00. We have found that 5 hours is an optimal time of commitment and learning for all of our clients. Other than the savings, the reason we encourage you to buy your dance lessons in groups of 5 is so that we can develop a more customized plan of learning and set positive goals you can achieve during that time.

What do "Semi-Private" dance lessons mean?

Semi-privates are a mix between the benefits of private dance lessons and group dance lessons. Basically, they are a way for a group of friends to get together and split the cost of a dance lesson and still have the individualized attention they want. Semi-private dance lessons are available for groups of 3-7 people and are a great way to share time with your instructor and friends, as well as throw some pressure off your pocket book!

What kind of dancing can we learn?

We teach all types of dances. Many people looking for wedding dance choreography will choose the archetypically romantic dances such as Rumba, Waltz and Tango. Some others that just want to learn how to social dance will often start with Salsa, Cha-Cha or Swing. Your instructor will sit down with you during your first dance lesson and plan a customized goal of what you want to achieve with  your time.

Do you need a partner to take dance lessons? 

Not at all! In fact there are many people who take their dancing to the next level by competing with their instructors in the "Pro-Am" division of competitive dancing - much like the way Dancing With The Stars is structured. Even though your goals may be different, your instructor is there to work with you and give you a quality dance lesson you can feel good about at any level of experience.
